Overview

Lufas Maphaahl once ruled the land of Mizgarz with overwhelming power, until a band of heroes defeated and sealed her away. But this legendary figure wasn’t a real tyrant—she was a player avatar in the game Exgate Online. Years later, the player accepts a strange offer and awakens inside the game world, now trapped in Lufas’s body after two hundred years have passed. Mizgarz has fallen under the shadow of the Devil King, and the world still remembers Lufas as a feared ruler. The new Lufas must rebuild her forces, confront old allies and enemies, and face the one being she never managed to control—the true “last boss.”

My Review (Minimal & Practical)

This anime feels like a mix of classic isekai power fantasy and game-world politics. The premise is strong: a legendary avatar returns to a world that has moved on without her, creating tension between reputation, identity, and responsibility. The storytelling leans on familiar tropes—overpowered protagonist, loyal retainers, myth-like backstory—but the presentation is stylish and consistent. The pacing tries to cover a lot of material in twelve episodes, which makes some arcs feel compressed, though the production quality and music hold the experience together.

It doesn’t reinvent the genre, but it delivers a solid isekai experience with cool character moments, striking visual tone, and a “legend returning to reshape the world” vibe that fans of Overlord-style stories will recognize.

Notable Characters

Lufas Maphaahl — Overpowered ruler and central protagonist.

Dina — Mysterious companion with hidden motives.

Aigokeros, Aries, Libra, Alfie — Zodiac-themed followers tied to Lufas’s past.

Viewer Impressions (Summary)

Most viewers consider it entertaining but uneven. Some compare it to Overlord with lighter tone and faster pacing. The production quality and visuals receive praise, while the story sometimes feels compressed due to limited episode count.

Conclusion

A visually polished, trope-heavy but enjoyable isekai series. Ideal for viewers who like game-world fantasy, overpowered leads, and myth-style worldbuilding, even if the narrative depth isn’t always consistent.
