Ultron Abilities
Ultron, the new Strategist hero, is finally making his way into the game! His kit is designed to support allies while also dealing damage from a distance. Here’s a breakdown of his abilities:
Encephalo-Ray
Primary Attack (LMB): Unleash a powerful burning energy beam that deals damage to enemies.
Rage of Ultron
Ultimate (RMB): Summon Ultron Drones to fire Encephalo-Rays, either dealing damage to enemies or healing allies. A versatile skill for offensive and defensive plays!
Imperative: Patch
Ability (E): Command a giant drone to follow an ally, providing constant healing to all nearby allies, with additional healing for the designated ally. A great way to support teammates who are diving in!
Imperative: Firewall
Ability (RMB): Summon drones that grant bonus health to allies within range, centered around Ultron and the ally marked with Imperative: Patch.
Algorithm Correction
Passive: Hold jump to fall slowly, allowing Ultron to navigate the map with more control during aerial combat.
Dynamic Flight
Movement (Shift): Fly quickly in the direction of movement, and then enter free-flight mode for a limited time, allowing for greater mobility in battles.
These abilities make Ultron a versatile Strategist capable of both supporting his team and dealing significant damage. He’s the first Strategist with flight abilities, making him an exciting new addition to the roster.
How to Play Ultron
Ultron's playstyle is ideal for long-range combat and supporting teammates without needing to be in close proximity. Here are some tips for playing Ultron effectively:
- Stay with your team: Ultron excels at supporting his allies from the backline, making him an ideal choice for keeping divers and flankers alive while they engage the enemy.
- Use Imperative: Patch to heal: Imperative: Patch allows you to heal teammates from a distance. This is especially useful for supporting aerial heroes like Spider-Man or Iron Man.
- Rage of Ultron for crowd control: Ultron’s ultimate can be used for both offense and defense. Use it to deal damage when your team is pushing, or to heal your team when they are under fire.
- Dynamic Flight for mobility: Use Dynamic Flight to quickly reposition yourself on the map, giving you a strategic advantage during high-pressure moments.
With these skills, Ultron is perfect for a hybrid support role, dealing massive damage while keeping his teammates healthy and safe.
New Map: Arakko
Season 2.5 will introduce a brand-new Convoy map called Arakko. This map stays true to the Krakoa theme and promises to offer fresh gameplay dynamics. While we don’t have full details yet, we can expect a map filled with new challenges and strategic opportunities.
